Mid-Norfolk Green Party

More details of the Dereham Green Fair 2004

We are an active local Green Party, campaigning for local green issues. We hold monthly meetings, usually hosted at members own homes, to formally discuss Green events, campaigns and other issues. Our most active area is Dereham although we have active members throughout the Mid-Norfolk / Breckland area. We like to see members bringing their local issues to meetings so that we can support them, where appropriate, as a group. In the summer of 1999 the Mid-Norfolk Green Party celebrated its first 10 years since formation. Have a look at some of our activities over this time.

The Green Party is not supported by big business or outside funding. Locally, we raise money for our campaigns, leaflets etc. by holding jumble sales, stalls and other events such as the Dereham Green Fair.

We have fought in many local elections from Dereham Town, Breckland District, Broadland District to Norfolk County Council, as well as campaigning during European and General Elections; this has lead to a good green awareness in our area.

Have a look at one of our campaign articles ... Ten Good Reasons to Vote Green

These are our recent election campaigns.
